More parts of the zoo are curtained off with signs for the Forests and Jungles of the World exhibit. Some of the new animals in the pictures include a red panda and squirrel monkeys, and it looks like they're moving the saddle-billed storks and eastern black-and-white colobus monkeys there as well.

So the potential species list is as follows:

Africa - colobus monkey, saddle billed stork, bongo, okapi

Asia - Sumatran orangutan, red panda

South America - spider monkey, squirrel monkey, giant otter, jaguars

Plus at least 25 species of bird per an article last year.

On December 16th, it was announced that the zoo transferred a (0.1) toco toucan to the San Francisco Zoo in California on November 20th.

On January 27th, it was reported that the zoo received a $2M grant from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to renovate the Hall of Wonders building. While plans are still early in development, the zoo is aiming to reimagine the building as a more immersive experience with hands-on exhibits and storytelling.

On February 12th, it was announced that the zoo transferred a (1.0) generic giraffe to Wildlife Safari in Oregon.

On February 27th, the zoo announced that a lesser flamingo hatched.

I heard that the new species that'll be in the World of Primates exhibit after the Colobus Monkeys and Orangutans leave for Forests and Jungles of the World will be Sifakas in the current Colobus Monkey exhibit and Lion-Tailed Macaques in the current Orangutan exhibit
 
Regarding the lion-tailed macaques, where exactly would they source them from; for there’s only so few facilities in the country that would be willing to give up their macaques to Fort Worth*.

Two of my favorite primate species and would be amazing if Lion-Tailed Macaque's have a resurgence in the states. would be amazing news, though I don't want to get my hopes up until an official announcement.
