More parts of the zoo are curtained off with signs for the Forests and Jungles of the World exhibit. Some of the new animals in the pictures include a red panda and squirrel monkeys, and it looks like they're moving the saddle-billed storks and eastern black-and-white colobus monkeys there as well.

The zoo has announced the birth of a female lesser kudu calf!
Fort Worth Zoo on Instagram: "There’s a new kudu in town! A female lesser kudu calf was born in the early morning hours of Nov. 17 to parents Peaches and Cosmo. Our animal team shares that this little calf seems particularly curious about her surroundings and keepers, regularly zipping around the barn with bravery and loads of energy.️ For now, the calf is bonding with Mom behind the scenes, as you can see here, but we look forward to sharing more (like her name ) soon!"
Two of my favorite primate species and would be amazing if Lion-Tailed Macaque's have a resurgence in the states. would be amazing news, though I don't want to get my hopes up until an official announcement.I heard that the new species that'll be in the World of Primates exhibit after the Colobus Monkeys and Orangutans leave for Forests and Jungles of the World will be Sifakas in the current Colobus Monkey exhibit and Lion-Tailed Macaques in the current Orangutan exhibit
I talked to someone about itRegarding the lion-tailed macaques, where exactly would they source them from; for there’s only so few facilities in the country that would be willing to give up their macaques to Fort Worth*.
*Especially, if all of this is true
