WRS Mandai expansion plans

Is RW Asia still projected to open Q3-Q4 this year or has it been delayed to next year? Africa was opening some time later iirc

1.0 Eastern Bongo and 1.0 Red-bellied Lemur arrived recently. Both species should be meant for Rainforest Wild Africa. Nice to finally see a new lemur species in Mandai's collection.
Do you know from where they sourced the male mountain bongo and red-bellied lemur (names and ages like)?

BTW: In Asia, only al-Bustan 2.3 and Taipeh 0.6 hold mountain bongos in Asia.

NOTE: The zoo had 0.2 mountain bongo (not sure which individuals rn) on exhibit before.
(Are the possibly the 2 youngest mountain bongos (they maintained in 2019 born in 2012-Kiazi and 2013-Zuri respectively, when they still had 1.4 - 1.2 older mountain bongos born 2007-2008)

The male Bongo came from Beauval, where he was born in 2022.
The Red-bellied Lemur came from Ostrava, where he was born in 2016.
Cheers @MikeG! I somewhat expected Singapore as a participant in EAZA programs to source their new animals from within the European zoo community network!

The cavern has Asian animals like the Mexican blind cave fish and Madagascan hissing cockroach

In seriousness, it's great that RW Asia would have the dholes and Malayan tapirs in the daytime. There'd likely be more surplus animals from the other 4 parks too, a pangolin was also on the hoarding art interestingly but there probably aren't any plans for them in RW

I have no idea how many sun bears they have but I'd assume the zoo will still keep some of them. As for the tigers, would they be Sulong and Suri?

What will even take over the sun bear habitat cause I doubt they'd want to leave it empty for long

Frozen Tundra is in a tricky spot as it would be difficult to tear it down and build something new on that land so it has a short-term use as the animal playground for now. If Mandai really had plans for that space, they probably should be drafting it up by now and start construction sometime. Someday Mandai will remember that they have a huge white elephant taking up a lot of space in that corner.

As for the sun bears, Mandai would have to find a suitable animal for that habitat, not sure what else could live there besides another bear species

I mean, if the Night Safari has sloth bear, Rainforest Wild'll have the sun bears and River Wonders has giant panda, the current sun bear enclosure at the Zoo might suit Andean bears pretty well...

I saw the list of animals I would like them to add more interesting animals, like new langur from Vietnam and Laos, or animals from the Philippines, Papua New Guinea.

Most likely this will not be the full list of animals
