Joburg Zoo Johannesburg zoo news

I just looked at the management structure at JoZoo and found it absolutely mindboggling and (un-)surprising how many Executives there are on the Joburg Zoo poster and how few and far between anyone with any zoo management role nor proper zoo husbandry or curatorial experience has a senior role here.

The predominant job descriptions I see mentioned are ... obviously a General Director (Mr Thanduxolo Mendrew), a CFO (Mr Floyd Rikhotso), Exec Managers for (Operations), (Environmental Conservation), (Business Support), (Human Capital) and yay .... and last but not least (Joburg Zoo). This zoo is run like a facility management or real estate / auditors business. It is just painfully obviously ... non zoo people.
