On September 14th, the zoo announced they acquired (1.1) secretary birds named Anikin and Tori from The Birmingham Zoo in Alabama and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in California respectively which are now on display adjacent to the giant anteater exhibit outside Cheetah Outpost.

On October 6th, the zoo announced they acquired a (1.0) Komodo dragon named Iroh which is now on display in the Reptile House.

On October 15th, the zoo announced they acquired a (0.1) fossa named Riana which is now on display in the Small Carnivore Area.

On October 18th, the zoo announced that construction finally started on the exhibit which will be completed in Spring 2025. The zoo also announced they will be acquiring a (0.1) Komodo dragon once the project is completed.

Little Rock Zoo in Arkansas is fast becoming a little known gem of a zoo facility with over the last few years quite a number of new exhibits, high profile births and an impressive number of recent acquisitions of rare, endangered and species not always associated with smaller zoos! Kudos to management and staff here!
On October 19th, the zoo announced that 2 more African penguins named Brenton and Kai hatched which are now on exhibit.

Today, on October 28th, the zoo announced the loss of their Asian Elephant (0.1) Sophie, who passed away this morning at the age of 56 years.
She was estimated at 55 or 56 years of age, that is not completely known. It is a respectable age though and she had been on end of life care since June this year. ATM 2 (ex-circus) elephants remain in Babe (49, her long time companion of old) and Zina (at 64).
The zoo is setting up a funding project to raise money for Asiatic Elephant Support (in situ conservation) in her memory.

I don't know who you are talking about here. Are they Anteaters? Giant Pandas? Blue Whales? Megalodons? Please specify which species they are, as most people can be confused when you simply say the animals names without the species they are too.

They are the three Malayan tigers that were born in August 2022.
On November 21st, it was announced that the zoo acquired a (1.0) laughing kookaburra from the San Francisco Zoo in California on October 30th.

When I visited here earlier this year, there were I believe 5 of the old bear grottoes were dedicated to Sloth Bear. There are like 12 or 13 total grottoes in that complex. Two for Bush Dog, like 4 or 5 dedicated to various otter species, and the rest Sloth Bear.
