Everything but orcas really!2 African Manatee now added to the parks line up also. Transferred from COEX Aquarium, South Korea.
National Aquarium Abu Dhabi Welcomes Two African Manatees As Species Ambassadors
A very impressive species list is forming with some notable rarities;
- African Manatee
- Dugong
- Atlantic Humpback Dolphin
- Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin
- Manta Ray
- Sea Otter
- choice selection of penguin species
etc
Look out Toba!
Wonder if we will see more traffic heading to UAE in the coming months, some detailed reviews and images would be appreciated if anyone does make it there, looks like a few nice collections could be rounded up in a small area...

I'm sure if all didn't happen as it did they would have plans for them though
The African Manatee went to the National Aquarium of Abu Dhabi not SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. They are two different facilities but both aquariums located in the area. Regardless the park still has quite the collection!2 African Manatee now added to the parks line up also. Transferred from COEX Aquarium, South Korea.

My apologies you are quite right, i saw a snippet of news on social media that said "Seaworld" and a quick google has failed me.The African Manatee went to the National Aquarium of Abu Dhabi not SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. I visited here today, and I saw Nayer, Indo-pacific bottlenosedolphin (suspected), DugongHello my friends,
does anybody know if the Indian Ocean humpback dolphin "Nayer" is on show ? Am I right saying that Indo-pacific bottlenosedolphin, Atlantic humpback dolphins, Giant oceanic manta ray and Dugong are on display ?
Thanks, Jakub
Any word on the manta or on the tiger shark? I'd be interested to hear.I visited here today, and I saw Nayer, Indo-pacific bottlenosedolphin (suspected), Dugong
Sorry, I didn't notice the animals.Any word on the manta or on the tiger shark? I'd be interested to hear.
The Giant Oceanic Manta Ray is on-display in the main Endless Ocean Tank but last I heard the Tiger Shark is behind the scenes.Any word on the manta or on the tiger shark? I'd be interested to hear.
Good to know that the tiger is alright! It'll be cool to see another in aquaria. Their reputation for being poor aquarium sharks is a tad overblown, if cared for properly they can live over 20 and maybe even 30 years in captivity (as one did in Mexico in the 2000s, per Henry Mollet's old website). Georgia's is by all accounts doing quite well. The Giant Oceanic Manta Ray is on-display in the main Endless Ocean Tank but last I heard the Tiger Shark is behind the scenes.

Where is the humpback dolphin?
He'll be at the dolphin show. Usually he's in the pool by the cabin. He lives in this yellow zone with some Atlantic bottlenose dolphins.
