Did the Mandai ever breed any dhole, and where did the rainforest wild asia packs come from?
The pack came from Night Safari.Did the Mandai ever breed any dhole, and where did the rainforest wild asia packs come from?
The pack came from Night Safari.
Also two updates.
1. Malayan Box turtle has been added to the Forest Floor
2. 2.0 Javan langurs have been introduced into the Canopy. Still not the friendliest though, and was hissing at a number of non familiar staff.
As per the Animal care officer, they are still being conditioned into the exhibit.I believe the Philippine Spotted Deer have been introduced into the zone too? The pair welcomed their first fawn recently.
They're at Forest FloorFor the turtles (no 7-11), are they located at the Forest Floor area? Or some are at the entrance gorge?
If they aren't coming to Rainforest Wild, perhaps the Siamese crocodiles fould move to Panjang's former enclosure? With the 4 species that didn't make it in, that would've been 36 species as marketedFYI reticulated python and siamese crocodile are advertised on Mandai's website but as per the reptile team, the siamese crocs are unlikely to move anytime soon for now.
The Asian giant tortoises and Elongated tortoises will share one larger exhibit within forest floor. The other turtles (9-11) will be in the smaller one closer to the exit of forest floorFor the turtles (no 7-11), are they located at the Forest Floor area? Or some are at the entrance gorge?
31. Cave blind fish *
Which Blind Cavefish species? Or are they proceeding with the Mexican Cave Tetra (Astyanax jordani)?

Hoping for the smaller species in Congo and Madagascar sectionsAside from okapis and the lemur walkthrough, I’m not sure what they’ll add but they already have these African rainforest species that could potentially be moved here like bongos, red river hogs, hippos, monkeys, etc, wouldn’t expect as many new species for RW. Bonobos and Congo buffalo would be amazing to have and I’d love for the return of mandrills, duikers and African dwarf crocodiles
the second snake is a different species, a Jungle Carpet PythonNight Safari still has some cave racers. Seems like 2 different morphs—the Malayan Cave Racer (Elaphe taeniura ridleyi) and another one that I'm not sure of. Sorry for the blurry images.

Should still be bromgersmaiDoes anyone know which species of blood python Mandai have? Last time I saw it, it was signed as Python brongersmai. Also are all of the cave racers now at RW or are there still some left in Night Safari?
For the time being there won't be anymore major expansions to the parkWill rainforest wild Asia expand more and have more animals added in? It seems like the number of different species isn’t a lot
Hopefully Rainforest Africa will have many more animalsFor the time being there won't be anymore major expansions to the park
That seems unlikely as it is rather small ,at 8 hectares, even compared to RFW ASIA at 13 hectares. The current animals that have been acquired for RFN AFRICA are Okapis, Diana Monkeys, L'Hoest's Monkeys, Red-bellied Lemur, Eastern Bongo, & Pygmy Hippo.Hopefully Rainforest Africa will have many more animals
