What about these? I decided to do some planning for my entire Zoo, not just the part I was working on. All of these are outdoors but there is terrarium space;
  • the Sahara and the Sahel
  • the Horn of Africa deserts
  • South African deserts
I changed this to a singular Deserts region (South African deserts), centering around the Lion House

Are all of these in American captivity?

What about for a building with various “oasises” with outdoor enclosures. I need help with okavango delta, lake Chad and Nile River
I was also thinking of adding the African Great Lakes. I need some fish for an aquarium with African Brown Knifefish Xenomystus nigri, Striped Tigerfish Hydrocynus vittatus, some birds for an aviary with (could be separated) African Sacred Ibis Threskiornis aethiopicus, Egyptian Goose Alopochen aegyptiaca, and another aviary for saddle-billed stork. I'm also open for any other species

Thanks for the help so far! I'm working on an arid-Africa Rocks exhibit with kopjes, South African mountains, Horn of Africa, and the Atlas Mountains. It's outdoors but there are some terrariums

I finished all of those regions and now I'm working on Wild Eurasia. The exhibits are:
  • the Mediterranean
  • North Africa and the Middle East
  • Central Indian Plains
  • the Gobi Desert

Just saying but for the gobi desert I have an idea and the idea is one of my favorite animals and this animal is my favorite because last year in 2024 I lost my 1st cousin 2x removed named Jim and my cousin he acted like this animal and the animal is called the Pallas cat and my cousin acted like the cat because the cat can look like it’s grumpy when its really not grumpy and that’s how my cousin acted and while my cousin was still around I told him that I had a dream and the dream was that I discovered a new species of cat that acted like a Pallas cat but looked different and the cat belonged to the Felis genus and I told my cousin that I would name this cat Felis Lacomus grandis and it’s full name would be Felis Lacomus Grandis Weikie and Lacomus is the Latin word for Jim and grandis is the Latin word for the name grant and Weikie is a nickname for my cousins last name Weikert and the Pallas cat is found in a lot of aza zoos like Utica zoo, hogle zoo, prospect park zoo, Columbus zoo and aquarium, Cincinnati zoo, red river zoo, Smithsonian’s national zoo and the Cheyenne mountain zoo.

I’m looking for some invertebrates for southern Africa. These may include insects, spiders, arthropods, snails and crustacians. So animals from Lesotho, Botswana, Angola, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, … are all welcomed options.

I'm also looking for that too! Right now, all I could find is:

  • Gandanameno sp. (London Zoo has them)
  • Garden Fruit Chafer Pachnoda sinuata
  • Flat Rock Scorpion Hadogenes troglodytes
  • Common Whipspider Damon variegatus
  • Tiger Beetle Manticora scabra
  • Springbok Mantis Miomantis caffra
