With how they work, I have no clue why they still retain the "mini" title, I presume just for branding and recognizability. They're pretty much a zoo in operation, not a small-scale mini zoo.
Most of the exhibits are mediocre at best; cement brick flooring, tethered birds in the "Owl House", open exhibit that encourage interaction and visibility. Some of these exhibits have no different from the ever worse Semarang Zoo. How they get some of their animals, especially the red bird-of-paradise, are very questionable. You can easily get tigers of you have the money and connections in Indonesia and it's fairly easy for a lot of facilities to get (Generic) tigers anyway, so nothing to get suprised of.
Again, this is to show how influential Lembang Park & Zoo in the design and management of newer post-2020 zoos (And how detrimental they are).
