Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is a real little gem, nice place, nice people, quirky collectionHey. Next week i’m going to visit a zoo but i’m undecided on which to go to. In people’s opinions, what would be the best zoo that is within a 2 hour distance from sheffield, excluding chester zoo and knowsly safari as i’ve already been there. Thanks!
Sorry i forgot to say not YWP. I’ve been about 30 times lol.Yorkshire wildlife park.
Then the obvious answer is Peak Wildlife Park.Sorry i forgot to say not YWP. I’ve been about 30 times lol.
We’ve just realised hamerton is about 1hour 50 minutes. Is hamerton worth the trip

I'd do Hamerton and Johnsons of Old Hurst (not on a monday though as the latter is closed). You could combine Hamerton, shepreth and linton nice small collections with some interesting species
I second this, it's easily one of my favourite zoos.Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is a real little gem, nice place, nice people, quirky collection

It's not a good zoo, but from an enthusiasts perspective, it's worth a visit.Went for my one and only visit to Johnsons recently and wouldn’t recommend.
