If they hire you as a reptile keeper I doubt you'll work with mammals, unless for section you mean "part of the zoo", in which case it's either stated in the job vacancy or you'd have to ask at the job meeting.
Usually degrees or diplomas in animal husbandry or biology/natural sciences or related field and prior experience, again you should find these informations in the job vacancy description.
Last time I checked the EAZA job vacancies and MANDAI vacancies they were looking for a position that would work with reptiles - Assistant Curator for Herpetology - although it seems they have removed the position from the Mandai website the EAZA vacancy post still stands.
