Monday morning, I flew into LA for my final event, which ran from after lunch till Wednesday night. This meant I had most of Thursday free before my flight home. I visited Madrona Marsh, which was only a short distance from the hotel. I had visited here a number of other times, including at the start of the year. It was totally dry and very quiet, no doubt as I was visiting right at the end of summer.
