Paignton Zoo Bad news from Paignton

You wouldn't have been on the beach if you'd been here! Sun? It even rained on us at one point :(

:eek:I think some of the visitors thought they were on the beach! With the range of attire they were wearing or not:D

Oh yes, I've seen them. Its disgusting.:o I would never visit Paington again in the summer holidays, once was quite enough....:D

Maybe we should get some sort of award for surviving it ;) (11 days to go!)

Maybe you can start a new thread 'good news at Paignton' when all the half-naked trippers have gone- not forgetting they are the zoo's financial bread and butter of course. ;) I'll bet the keepers look forward to September 1st too.

Not a cloud in the sky all day with me! (mini heatwave) ;)

Reminds me of a local saying:
"Come to glorious Devon where it rains eight days out of seven."
And I've just heard this one:
"Come to Devon, it's great. Join the queues on the A38."
:D:D:D
(Apologies to anyone expecting this to be about the Zoo)

... or how about this one- "spend the day in a glorious traffic jam on the Torbay ringroad, trying to get to Paignton Zoo"..;)

".......and just when the zoo appears in view, the lights will change and you'll be stuck there too." Tra la.. ;)

Our detective work has had to take second place to our efforts to remain sane this month :)
