Why does that article state that the tigers are to take up temporary residence at the park? I thought they were planning on keeping and eventually breeding them both?![]()
Our region is going very well with Sumatran tigers - there are now 44 (21 males and 23 females) at 13 different locations.
6 of these (3m. & 3f.) are at Australia zoo, and some of those are, I believe, unrelated to any others outside of Indonesia. Very valuable animals!.

has anyone heard any news. there is nothing about a possible date for their public debut on there internet site. Have they left N.Z yet?
