i knew there was a male in wellington zoo but was unaware of the animal at Mogo. id always thought they only had siamangs, lar and (white cheeked?) gibbons.
anyway, last animal in a major australian zoo.
seeing the exhibit moat drained just gave me so many ideas for what a fantastic site for a new enclosure this would be.....does anyone remember when the gibbon island was actually used for squirrel monkeys, who promptly at the tree and were relocated?
