Chester Zoo New rhino on the way??

I sometimes get animals' names wrong too, of course...;)

An easy mistake. And to be honest, I've only been paying too much attention for the last year or so to the individuals etc, so don't know them all off-by-heart yet :D. Am I right in thinking Magadi is the one who's front horn bends back and touches the smaller horn (or at least nearly)?

I can't tell you as I don't (unfortunately) live near to Chester so not a very frequent visitor. I know the names because I've got data/records on most of the UK Black Rhinos.

Ahh cool, no worries. Hopefully somebody will be able to say (as has been noted, you can't really rely on paddocks :D).

Also those of us close enough to Mugadi and Manyara know that at no point on Saturday did he get it into the correct place!!

That was true at about 11.15 am, but he might have done better previously or subsequently on Saturday ;)

Which reminds me, Tim did say that he would be grateful for details of any matings that ZooChat members witness. If none of the staff saw this happening, the information would be valuable.
Maisie, if you have EXIF data with your photo, you could send an e-mail with the place and time to the Zoo (I dare say someone will have spotted the photo by now).

Alan
