Just a few questions I would be grateful for answers to if possible
Q1 – have there ever been any of the following Wolves in any UK collections Artic, Caspian Sea or Indian (Middle Eastern I think) if so where were they and how long did they keep them?
Q2 – Have there ever been any Grizzly Bear’s kept in any UK collections if so where and when?
Q3 – Has there ever been a Hume’s Owl in any collection in the UK?
Q4 - Would a new Bird Collection (say call it National Bird Collection) be worth opening or do you think that Bird collections in the UK are now passed it or is it better to combine them with other collections of animals?
Q5 – If a Collection was to bring in a very rare animal that has not been seen in the UK before would you be willing to travel to see it no matter what collection it was to be exhibited in?
I would travel to see a very rare species but especially a bird species no matter how far away from my home it was in the UK.
I would love there to be a collection of birds in the UK that was purely for birds and rare ones at that we do have collections based on birds but unfortunately they do not hold many very rare species I would love to see more collections in zoos have rare birds instead the run of the mill species that are popping up in many collections these days (not just birds on that one)
