So we know Dassie rat's is not a mammal or reptile but it might be India.

You know mine isn't a reptile or a sponge.

I didn't even know Pootle was playing.

Someone else's is a marine fish.

And DDcorvus' animal was guessed, right?

Hmm.. ok I will play, but be warned that I might have some nonsensical Christmas-related chores/errands to do, and might not post as regularly. I am thinking of an animal....

@Thylo, is your animal an amphibian?
 
Nanoboy: My animal is an amphibian (Q2)

Pootle's fish is a bony fish found in all oceans and which can appear on western menus. I've asked Pootle if it is a herring (Clupea harengus), but it may be Clupea ruber.

No one asked you if it was an amphibian, nanoboy asked me if my animal was an amphibian so you can't count that as a question since no one asked you, you just gave us the answer.:D

Is it a frog (including toads)?
