Could Steve Robinson tell us, were Australian Zoos given the oppertunity to take on any of the animals if they wanted them? I can understand no one exactly wanting most of the animals there, but were they advertised or offered to other australian institutions?

Reviving the 2013 thread: Cairns Wildllife Safari Reserve had a breeding pair (the now infamous Frank x Fluffy). The last calf from 2009 (Fergus) was sent to Sydney's Taronga Zoo. This was before the park got in the lowdown shambles and sold of part of the collection to Taman Safari Indonesia in Bogor.Only a pair of Pygmy Hippos?????
