Last time I visited I saw a moorhen in with yellow mongoose, it didn't end well... Wouldn't be surprised if it was a mixed species exhibit! When I visited some years ago I saw, in one of the paddocks, a dead Ring-tailed lemur being eaten by a Cheetah.
They are not. Big shock![]()
The entire group of Mandrill have left today for a zoo "far into Europe"
Quote:
Well today was the last day for Mandrill's at this zoo. We have had them many years but they do not form a part of our master plan for the future of the zoo. So the whole group was transported to a new home far into Europe. the Hippos are moving soon... but to our new site and then we are bringing into that area a very exciting new addition to the zoo... but I am going to leave you wondering about that
...Am I the only one that translated that quote as "the big zoo in the sky" ?
Any chance of knowing where the mandrills have been transferred to?
i would not be surprised if he put lions and tigers for another mixed exhibit!!![]()
