Apparently there's 1.1 Styani Red Panda cubs on display at the zoo.

How is the status of the Styani red panda in the USA. In Europe none are kept at the moment and historicly only 8 collections have had this subspecies ( ! ).

They're around, just like the Western ssp. I've seen Red Pandas at 6 zoos so far and 3 have has A. f. fulgens and 3 have had A. f. refulgens (Styani). One of those with A. f. refulgens, Cincinnati, also currently has a cub. Based on my limited knowledge and observations, I'd say they are just about as common here as the Western. If ISIS ever comes back out and/or ztl ever makes an American version I'll make sure to look into it for you if I remember.

According to the article, this is the first time the species has been breed in an AZA zoo. It also mentions that the zoo has 15, 14 off-show, and 1 on-show. The 15 is split up between Bronx and Prospect Park.

The zoo has added 3.0 Demoiselle Cranes to their collection. I do not know where they are on-exhibit, though.

If you are talking about the one in "Animal Lifetstyles" it is a Common Boa, Green Iguana and Red-Footed Tortoise.
