Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden What's Gnu at the Cincinnati Zoo - 2014

I remember seeing the species and I remember seeing photos of the terrarium on here. I suppose one of each is not bad, though I personally would've only put two species in there then.

I got bored and wanted to show you the frog to exhibit size ratio. This is what I saw today but I didn't have camera so I added the frog in myself...

um, this doesn't show the "frog to exhibit size ratio" -- it shows a "this is what I am telling you is the frog to exhibit size ratio by photoshopping in a completely unrelated picture of a frog"....

Unless it is an actual photo of the frog in the tank it is meaningless.

He was interested and concerned that the exhibit would be too small for the frogs so I took that in consideration and added a frog into the picture of the exact exhibit. That Painted (not Photoshopped) Frog is almost the same size as the frog I saw today and it was in the exact same location. Maybe you should have read the full conversation first.

I read the full conversation when it took place. I'm simply saying that somebody adding a frog into a photo is not showing the size of the tank in relation to the actual inhabitants of the tank, it is simply that person saying "this is how big I think the frog was in relation to the tank". It isn't the same thing.

It is when that's exactly the same species, the same size, and the same location. What's the big deal, did you see it?

The zoo has a new duck species in the South America Wings of the World exhibit. I have a photo of it and will post later.

Can anyone identify this for me please?

I would say that is a Laysan Teal (Anas laysanensis). Not a new species for the zoo as I saw them out on Swan Lake when I visited but certainly glad to see that the zoo is finally drawing some attention to them existing.

That is definitely it, thanks!:)

Two pink-backed pelicans and one Rüppell's vulture went on exhibit in the mixed-species savanna today.

Primate keepers have two estimated dates for Asha's due date. June 6th, or June 15th.
