I quite like Agent Carter so far. Especially how they have a lot of the same cast and characters from the movie such as Carter herself (obviously), Howard Stark, and at least one of the Howling Commandos. It also has some subtle connections to future events and characters in the MCU.

I only watched 2 episodes and stopped. I just couldn't gauge where it was going! And so, it goes into the 'dud' bin with 'Agents of Shield'. ;)

Zooboy, are you watching 'How to Get Away With Murder' yet? There are quite a few scenes in there that you might find interesting.

I have watched two episodes of '12 Monkeys' (the TV adaptation of the movie from the 90s with Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis). I quite enjoy it, but I am thinking of holding off on watching this series for a while. I saw that you can sync Philips LED lightbulbs with the show so that your TV room's lighting changes based on different scenes in the movie. The bulbs are somewhat pricey ($250), but I am hoping that the price decreases soon.

I don't know about you guys, but I am SUPER pumped for the upcoming season of My Little Pony. Trailer made it look so epic. (and I do find it amusing to hear an epic-sounding narrator say "MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC")

Forever
this series has just started in NZ, with the first two episodes being played together as a "movie length premiere" (although the two episodes had no direct relation to one another in terms of plot). The basic story is that the main character lives forever; when he dies he just wakes up again so he is pemanently 35 years old. When I first started watching I remarked that they would have to be careful not to make it seem like a Highlander rip-off but as it turned out there were so many call-backs to that movie (the original one) that the series can only be what they now call a "re-imagining". Even the title is a reference.

I've only seen the first two episodes still, but so far I have to say it is recommended.

Grimm

A drama/action series about ( ancient German ) mythological monsters that take the form of humans. Set in modern times in Portland Oregon, it follows Nick, a Grimm ( A Grimm is someone who can see the creatures, even when they are in human form. ) and the other people involved at the police station he works at. They investigate murder committed by the creatures and usually come up with a unique way to kill each different "species" of monster. Not too much soap opera, enough action too keep you awake until 10:00. ( it runs 9-10 on Fridays in the U.S. )

Well it is similar to Supernatural, Angel, etc. in the same way that CSI et al. is like Law & Order et al., NCIS et al., etc etc. Monster/murderer of the week type thing. It is quite different in tone and approach, and generally not anywhere as good as Supernatural, but its fairly watchable.

I didn't see the title at first and thought he was pitching an idea for a new show:p

There are a few interesting upcoming TV series in 2015: 28 new TV shows to geek out over in 2015 (pictures) - CNET

Better Call Saul has ended its first season over here and I really enjoyed. I thought it'd be kind of boring and try to survive on the popularity of Breaking Bad but it can hold its own. It's also neat being able to watch the origins and the occasional cameos of some of our favorite BB characters.

The Last Man On Earth has been pretty funny so far. I like Will Forte and his quirky-ness fits right in. The show's timeline moves pretty quickly but I suppose it works here.

I can't wait for The Walking Dead's spinoff! The name- Fear The Walking Dead- is pretty stupid but the plot seems great! The show is going to look at a different group of survivors from LA and actually show the city as the world collapses under the zombie apocalypse. I think it's a great idea since we never really got to see much of the period of time where everything started and first fell apart.

The whole DareDevil, AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and eventually The Defenders thing will be interesting to see, though I have my skepticism. DareDevil is out on Netflix now (sorry Aussies!) and has been pretty great from the four episodes I've watched. As much as I want to binge watch the entire series, I need it to hold me over until Age of Ultron comes out so I'm pacing myself:p

My brother watches iZombie though I haven't found the concept interesting enough to give it a go. He says it's really great, though.

Sorry Aussies? We have had Netflix for a grand total of 3 weeks in Oz. last night I watched just one episode of Daredevil. I am not sure if I like it.

I am also watching a Netflix exclusive, called 'Hemlock Grove', which is a sort of supernatural drama.

And believe it or not, I never watched 'Heroes' so I am only just getting into that.

Ah excellent. I obviously wasn't aware that you guys finally got it. Prepare for endless hours of binge watching:D;)

Do you have internet packages in America with data allowances? That's almost standard in Oz. I have a 100GB per month package, and given that a 30min HD show is about 1GB I have to constantly monitor my data usage. So it's cautious binge watching for me.

No I don't think so. And that sounds horrible:p

I am binge watching 'Heroes'. Oh man, this show is awesome! I have no idea how this one passed me by. I am almost at the end of Season 1.
