,I think the biggest news here is that someone actually thought the name "Hoo Farm" was a good idea.
,
I find it interesting that warthog are now percolating down to smaller set-ups like this- not a critisism, and it was perhaps bound to happen with a free-breeding species.

Hoo is a very old english name, often refers to a 'place'. Chances are this farm has been named this way for centuries.

If you want to fed it and cuddle it then this is the place with one of there encounters,as for serious yes they are serious about making as much money as they can!I know for a fact in the past they have built an enclosure finished and then seen what they can get to go in it!!Is this place any good? I know we all define "good" differently, but is it a seriously-run place with a professional outlook and approach?

True I know it happens in other places as well, but it seems to happen with 90% of the new builds at this place, perhaps they should get in touch with the place they bought the Servals from before they start building and see what they are selling!!!And then agree to buy that and then actually purpose build something for a known new arrival for once! This isn't as uncommon as you would think! I have heard of many many places doing that, not the best situation but sometimes that's the way some budgets work.

I saw the fishing cats on my first visit back in April this year but only one when visiting in August. Also of note the Giant Flying squirrel had recently passed away on our second visit, and they had two African civets in the old caracal enclosure.
