A pair of cats, initially thought by me to be bobcats or one of the other lynx species. These were kept in the old small cat house, this particular pair were there around 1990.

I am to assume it is around 1998, because the photograph was taken on kodak film, along with all the ones confirmed to be from that time.
The small mammal house at Chester Zoo was built in 1960 and demolished in 1998 to make way for an extension of the elephant enclosure. The Rhinoceros House can be seen on the left.
