If a zoo has the space and financial resources for a larger collection - great. I think the key is that the admission price should only match the collection size up to a point. Four hours is probably a good limit - longer than most visitors would stay but shorter than the die-hards. So charge whatever the going rate for four hours of entertainment is in your area.
As for the two-day ticket, that's a fine idea, but I would imagine you would not sell enough to justify the hassle of offering it. Except for the National Zoo (which is free anyway), I've never been to the same zoo twice in one week (although I wish I could have done that for San Diego and Saint Louis). And for those of us who travel to different zoos, we're probably getting half off anyway with reciprocal admission discounts.
