Might as well make a sequel like this. Discuss predictions, XI's, anything to do with any league in the 20/21 season. My predictions:

  • Liverpool will win the Premier League.
  • Man City, Chelsea and Manchester United to get Champions League.
  • Spurs and Arsenal to get the Europa League.
  • Aston Villa, West Brom, Leeds United to be relegated.
La Liga will be won again by Real Madrid. Serie A TIM will be won by Juventus. Scottish Premiership will be won by Celtic. Champions League will be won by Juventus. Europa League will be won by Spurs. Ligue Nos will be won by FC Porto. Championship will be won by Watford.

Ahem, what about the league the actual Champions League winner is coming from...?;) Or a prediction to the French league? Or is that too easy?:p

I would say it's easier to predict that than finding a zoo with meerkat.

I would say the Bundesliga will be more competitive this year, IF dortmund kept Jadon Sancho then I can see them giving Bayern a tough time.

I have to admit that I chose Leeds mainly because they haven't experienced the PL in a very long time, while West Brom and Fulham both have recent experience in the PL.

Just checked the Championship table on the BBC website, just to see Birmingham at the top... I'm not going to get used to that sight though! ;):D

Oooh fun.
Here are my predictions:

Prem: Man City win, Chelsea second, Liverpool third, Arsenal fourth. Spurs and Man U for the Europa League. Fulham, Villa and West Brom go down again.
La Liga: I have a really strange feeling that Barca will win this one. Real Madrid second, Atletico third, Celta Vigo fourth.
Ligue 1: PSG wins, OM second, OL third.
Bundesliga: Bayern first, Dortmund second, Leipzig third.
Serie A: Juventus win, Inter Milan second.

Champions League. I'm going to go for a PSG win, Chelsea or Liverpool second. Bayern eliminated by the English club in the semis, PSG beat RM in semis?

No way Barca wins the Liga BBVA, not after what happened in the past weeks.
Then in the Ligue 1, I'm pretty sure PSG's gonna win, but OL's gonna be second pretty easily

I know, I'm really confused by it myself but I just have this feeling that there will be some major reforms and they might just have a sort of resurgence. Really unlikely but I'd like to think it is possible.

OL came seventh last season, although judging by their Champions League performances, they are doing great rn. Hopefully they can keep the trend going.

Anyone else watching Leeds vs. Liverpool? Mad game. 3-2 to Liverpool after 33 minutes :D

We have forgotten how to defend recently, cannot quite work out the reason exactly something about midfield and the press I think is the issue.

Gutted I am not there, should have been there tonight to watch the champions!

Up the unbearable reds...;)

My predictions for...

... Bundesliga: Dortmund, then Bayern (the Bavarians are more experienced, but I guess the Borussians are more hungry this time. Beside that - although I'm a fan of the Bavarians - it is boring when Munich wins all the time)
... La Liga: Real Madrid, CF Barcelona second
... Premier League: The hardest one. I say Liverpool will make it. Klopp knows more about winner mentality then Guardiola. So Manchester City second.
... Ligue 1: PSG, then Olympique Lyon
... Serie A: Juventus, Inter second
AND MOST IMPORTANT:D:D;):
... Super League Switzerland: FC Basel, YB second, St. Gallen third.

Ahead of Gameweek 2 (closely ahead :p), here are my predictions for the Premier League games this week.

Everton 3-0 West Brom
Leeds 4-0 Fulham
Manchester United 2-1 Crystal Palace
Arsenal 2-1 West Ham
Southampton 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Newcastle 1-1 Brighton
Chelsea 1-3 Liverpool
Leicester 2-2 Burnley
Aston Villa 0-2 Sheffield United
Wolves 1-2 Manchester City

Some pretty interesting results across the board so far...

Prem:
Tottenham 1-1 Newcastle
Leeds 1-0 Sheffield United
Man City 2-5 Leicester
West Ham 4-0 Wolves

In context, the Spurs-Newcastle match was subject to quite heated debate due to a spurious handball decision for Newcastle at the death, which they converted and thus got the draw (bearing in mind I'm not a Spurs fan and it really wasn't at all a penalty - the Newcastle manager Steve Bruce even said so).
The Man City-Leicester game was unbelievable. City were really dominant at the start, scoring first but then having a few issues at the back and giving away 3 (!) penalties, which were all scored.
Wolves and Sheffield seem to have rather slumped in form since the restart - perhaps they have run out of steam after their excellent performances last season.

Meanwhile:
Bundesliga:
Bayern 1-4 Hoffenheim

This was one big shock. On Insta they were slightly speechless (the official account and fans) because they were all expecting a repeat of Schalke just the other week (8-0 win if you don't know). That's ended their 23 match winning run then...

La Liga:
Real Madrid 3-2 Betis
Barcelona 4-0 Villarreal (At Half Time)

While Madrid had a very difficult time getting past Betis, Barcelona are cruising past Villarreal, which is surprising given the changes made within the latter (Suarez, Rakitic, Semedo, Nelson and Vidal gone and only really Pjanic as a replacement).

Serie A:
Roma 2-1 Juventus (Not far into the match but still...)

Gameweek 4: What is going on in the premier league? More and more insanity continue and I don't really know what to expect anymore.

Seriously, I wake up this morning (it's 11:30 and 2:30 am and I went to sleep) and was shocked.

Man Utd 1-6 Spurs
Aston Villa 7-2 Liverpool

An almost relegated side last year beat the champions. Like how. No one is expected this result just like no one is expecting TLD to repost after 1 year. (In his travel thread)

Btw, after 4 gameweek Calvert Lewin is the top scorer and Everton is on top with 4 out of 4. It's like ZooBinh winning thread of the year with his overpriced zoo:p.
