Day 10 (2/8)
We’re more than halfway through the Olympics now!

The long jump final was won by Greece’s Tentogloum, who leaped 8.41m in the last jump to snatch it from Cuba’s Echevarria.
Puerto Rico’s Camacho-Quinn won the 100m hurdle.
Indonesia’s team won the badminton women’s double over China, getting their first gold medal in Tokyo 2020.
Hassan won her heat in 1500m after she was being tripped in the final lap.
Gymnastic women’s floor was won by Carey, and Ferrari from Italy got her first medal at the age of 30, while bronze is tied between Melinikova (ROC) and Murakami, the first Japanese gymnast to win a medal since 1964.
Armenia got their first medal in gymnastics, with Davtyan getting a bronze in men’s vault. Shin from Korea and Abliazan from ROC got gold and silver.
Guatemala’s Kevin Cordon lost to Indonesia’s Ginteng in the badminton bronze medal. Although he didn’t get a medal, he prove that you can still be a great player even if you’re in a country that is not so good.
El Bakkaki won the men’s 3000m steeplechase.
Hassan won the women's 5000m. Can she win all 3?
And finally, Axelsen won gold over Chen Long in Badminton single’s!
 
Day 11 (3/8)

Mihambo from Germany got gold in women’s long jump.
Warholm from Norway smashed the WR again! 45.94 is the time for 400m hurdles!
Lisa Carrington from New Zealand won her third consecutive olympic gold in canoeing.
WR had been beaten and beaten in the cycling team pursuit. I honestly don’t care typing out all the OR and WR, every 15 minutes a new record is produced.
Sport climbing starts today!
Simone Biles is competing today, and she got third after both Chinese gymnast in balance beam.
Athletics
Włodarczyk won her third consecutive gold in hammer throw.
In 200m final, Thompson-herah got the double-double.
And Duplantis won pole vault easily, narrowly miss out on the WR.

Day 12 (4/8)

Women’s 400m hurdles broke another WR, Sydney McLaughlin and Muhammed won gold and silver.
In women’s park skateboarding, Sky Brown got bronze, with Japan’s Sakura and Kokana winning gold and silver.
Track cycling team’s pursuit, Denmark and Italy battled out for a victory. A great race with each team taking turns to lead, ultimately Italy won in the last lap and broke their own WR.
Artistic swimming was won by ROC.
Men’s 200m final was won by De Grasse from Canada.
Women’s sport climbing qualification is done.
 
Day 13 (5/8)
HK won bronze in the table tennis women's team! Let’s go!
110m hurdles was won by Jamaica’s Parchment, beating out the big hit Holloway.
Crouser beat his own OR in men’s shot put.
Keegan Palmer won gold in skateboarding men’s park.
If you want to know what “domination” means, just watch the women’s 10m final. 14yo chinese diver Quan got 3 perfect score.
Braspennincx won women’s keirin. Our athlete Sarah Lee and China’s Zhong finished 8th and 12th.
Massimo Stano from Italy won men’s 20km walk
The first sports climbing medal was won by Gines Lopez! The 18 yo from Spain get it! Coleman from USA finish second and Schubert came first in lead (last climb as well) to snatch the bronze medal.
Men’s omnium was won by Walls from UK.
Karate women’s kata was won by Spain’s Sanchez, with Japan’s Shimizu in second and HK’s Grace Lau winning bronze with Italy’s Bottaro.
400m was won by Gardiner from Bahamas, with Zambrano winning silver and Kirani James from Grenada getting third.
Thiam from Belgium won heptathlon.
Warner from Canada won decathlon.
 
Day 14 (6/8)

We’re approaching the end of the Olympics, and more medals are awarded.

Women’s Beach volleyball was won by the USA. Ross finally won that gold at 39.
Racewalking medals have been decided.
Women’s sports climbing was won by Slovenia’s Garnbret.
The Women's Pentathlon was won by UK’s Kate French, who is surprisingly not from France.
Netherlands beat Argentina in Hockey final.
Canada beat Sweden on penalties in women’s football final.
In track cycling, UK won women’s madison by a mile, and men’s sprints was won by Lavreysen from Nederlands, with his teammate Hoogland getting silver.
And 4x100m was won by Jamaica in women’s event and Italy in men’s.
 
I know I am biased as we (GB) won the men's Pentathlon, but I learnt what a real tough event this is along with needing so much tough mental ability, a steady hand and endurance.
