I noticed construction markers in Wild Asia on Saturday night for the new bird habitat.

Where in Asia is the new bird exhibit going? The only place I can think of is right at the intersection of Asia and Grizzly Ridge.

Connected to the back of the Wild Prairie restrooms. The path was already adjusted for it since it was in the original path. These images are from last year’s zoo murder mystery night. It was part of the plot.

Blue blubber jellies have returned to the zoo. They are in Curious Creatures. They were previously featured in Jellies: Rhythm in the Blue.

The Akron Zoo mentions on their website that Curious Creatures will stay longer because of the pandemic.

“This space was designed to change habitats every 4-5 years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Curious Creatures plans to stick around a bit longer.”
