Animal Stereotypes That You Hate

A big stereotype worth addressing are with the platypus. They are described as these duck beaver hybrids when the tail is just furry like a marmoset. Cartoons go the easy way out of giving them beaver tails when that’s not how the species work in real life.

I have Eric Carle to thank for that misconception.
On the topic of the "Greedy Python", another stereotype that I don't like is constrictors/crocodilians always being hungry.

I’ve heard of pythons swallowing down full impala. Certainly not cow or horse sized but not a small animal either!

To aid the digestion process, I’ve seen some pictures created of a female Asian elephant being devoured against the backdrop of the African Savannah. One even had a tusked African elephant rushing to her rescue, while their implied calf watched in horror.

Not only is the python taking on this overly large animal, but also appears to be burrowing through it like a worm !!

Several times when I'am outside and gulls eat chicken,I hear people say "It's cannibalism!"

Probably because that’s the definition of cannibalism.

Birds eating the flesh of other bird species isn't cannibalism. It's the equivalent of a human eating a cow or pig.

If it was a gull eating another gull it would be, but the fact that the definition says species disproves your original argument.

Orca is actually part of their scientific name; so technically their right name is the Killer Whale.

Tell that to Gorilla gorilla gorilla.

I’d also like to mention Addax, Alligator, Anhinga, Antechinus, Arapaima, Chimaera, Corydoras, Hippopotamus, Lemur, Lynx, Mylossoma, Oryx, Planigale, Platypus, Python, Rhea, Rhinoceros, and Saiga.
