Animals You've Seen That Few Zoochatters Have Seen

Southern Pilbara Rock Monitor (Varanus hamersleyensis), judging by the lack of other images in the gallery not many (if any) people here have seen them.

While not destinct species, and both being domestic, thus not as interesting as most, Maltese Chicken and Maltese Cattle are both quite rare, the latter possibly extinct in it's pure form with only hybrids of vairous purities remaining.

I have seen Ross’s Gull; what about Olrog’s Gull? And Great Black-headed Gull?
i have sean great black heade gull asuming you mean pallas gull
For Finland, how about Siberian Tit, Blyth’s Reed Warbler, Pine Grosbeak, Saimaa Seal (or Wolverine in the wild)?
i have sean pine grosbeak during one of the invasion years (one is about to hapen this year also)
sean blyths reed warbler once herad it a coupel of more times, also saw siberina jay for the first time this year

Yes, I’ve seen Greater Cane Rat. Also Harbour Porpoise; as said, common but much less conspicuous than Dolphins. I also expect fewer Zoochatters will have seen Common Dolphin than Bottlenose.

Definitely in terms of captive; wild might be closer. I've definitely seen both wild.

Annoyingly, even though there's a fairly reliable population of White-beaked near me I've never (knowingly) seen those.

Seen it^^

Never actually got around to uploading any of my herp pictures though. Maybe if we ever get a photographic guide for reptiles...

Well, we've got the Europe specific one to tide you over if you have any help to lend there!

I'd like to know how many have seen Red-Flanked Lorikeet? It seems that the AZA zoos are down to only one (coincidentally at a local museum I've visited growing up); never looked into it but it's plausible that they may have had a larger population not too many years ago? Or in smaller roadside zoos or private hands.

They're not too uncommon in Europe - I've personally seen them in three places.

Aye-Aye aren’t very rare. They’re at many high-profile & highly-visit zoos across the world.
