Southern Pilbara Rock Monitor (Varanus hamersleyensis), judging by the lack of other images in the gallery not many (if any) people here have seen them.
Yeah I guess you’re right but it was still niceThey don’t necessarily register people…..we’re too big to bother about

These are really common across the coasts of Europe so I imagine a lot of our members have seen them. I haven't though somehow, seen more dolphins.Does harbour porpoise count?

Also Harbour Porpoise; as said, common but much less conspicuous than Dolphins. I also expect fewer Zoochatters will have seen Common Dolphin than Bottlenose.
Seen it^^
Never actually got around to uploading any of my herp pictures though. Maybe if we ever get a photographic guide for reptiles...
I'd like to know how many have seen Red-Flanked Lorikeet? It seems that the AZA zoos are down to only one (coincidentally at a local museum I've visited growing up); never looked into it but it's plausible that they may have had a larger population not too many years ago? Or in smaller roadside zoos or private hands.
Aye-Aye aren’t very rare. They’re at many high-profile & highly-visit zoos across the world. My two most "rare" would be aye aye and rough-toothed dolphin. Aye aye in San Francisco in the late 90s and rough-toothed dolphin in Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

True, I only have the memory of seeing an Aye-Aye once (which was last week at Omaha).Doesn't mean they're always seen though. I've been to two zoos with Aye-aye and yet to see them.
