A group of beautiful Giant Bell Jellies are now on exhibit in the North Pacific Gallery.
No it was not announced that they transferred a black-necked stilt. They transferred ownership of the stilt in order to "eliminate an unnecessary loan", meaning it was a stilt already at Los Angeles Zoo.On February 17th, 2023, it was announced that the aquarium transferred a (1.0) black-necked stilt to the Los Angeles Zoo in California.

Happy 25th Birthday to the Aquarium of the Pacific! It looks like the aquarium is having a photography contest to celebrate it's 25th birthday. I like this idea! I am sure that certain members on ZooChat that live in or frequently visit the area could participate.

-Live Bull Kelp
-Leopard Sharks
-Horn Sharks
-Various species of Rockfish
-Blacksmiths
-A juvenile Giant Sea Bass
-California Moray Eel
-Garabaldi
-California Two Spot Octopus
-Catalina Gobies

-Spiny Lobsters
-Rosy Rockfish (from the deepwater tank)
-A huge Eelgrass Meadow Aquarium (not sure if the Eelgrass is real) with what looked like a bunch of Sticklebacks
-Sand Dollars
