Are These in Captivity? #2

Are Wilson's birds-of-paradise held anywhere in captivity? I'm quite sure none live in the Western world.

Any of the paradise bird species that turned out to be hybrids ever kept in captivity? It would be amazing to see or to have seen the natural hybrids of birds although it is possible none have been kept due to the fact that a lot of these hybrid birds were only collected once.

Others I wonder about include the endangered Chaco fairy armadillo, the ethiopian giant dragonfly, humboldt squids, and if anami rabbits are kept outside japan.

It's a no for all of these. Amami rabbit is the only one kept in captivity, but as your question already suggested it is only kept in Japan. Even there, only Hirakawa Zoo keeps this species and they are only on show since this year.

I see some fish websites mention Cuban cichlids, but they're not on Zoochat or ZooTierListe so:

Are Cuban cichlids (Nandopsis tetracanthus) in captivity? Perhaps in the private pet trade

Pretty much the same question for Caribbean cichlids in general, like the Haitian cichlid (Nandopsis haitiensis) and the Trinidad pike cichlid (Crenicichla frenata)

Nandopsis tetracanthus is available in aquarium trade and being kept and bred in private hands.
Same with Nandopsis haitiensis

Are kelp geese still kept in captivity?

I recall Blackbrook kept a pair but I presume these birds died out?

If I remember the male kelp goose at Blackbrook was killed by a fox. I do not know what happened to the female, but I have a nagging memory that she was also killed by the fox.
