Hopefully, Khin Yadanar Min will be able to break the "curse" that Emmen has, and hopefully sire daughters with Ma Yay Yee and Shwe Zin. Given his father Bindu's track record of 50/50 when it comes to a calf's gender, Emmen will finally be able to grow their matriline.
 
Hopefully, but the odds are not stacked in Emmen's favor. That facility is cursed. Four different bulls, 32 calves between them, and only 5 of them have been cows, three from Nang Thein, and two from Radza.

Swe Zin now is in Emmen as well but obviously it will take time...

Ananda... as far as I know there was no success in Osnabrück so far.

I see. But their own press release reports that the calf was born on Saturday night: Elefantenkalb geboren | Zoo Zürich

Really exciting move as it will give Munich two additional cows, both unrelated to Gajendra (their bull).

Gajendra's a very valuable bull being wildborn and unrepresented aside from his two sons; so it's crucial they get the most calves that they can out of him. With Mangala not breeding, Munich really only has one viable cow currently (Temi), so have been rightly searching for additional cows.

Leipzig have had great success with their herd growth as of late, so they can afford breaking off a matriline branch here with Rani and her daughter.

I would rather think that Temi and Otto will move to Leipzig in return. Temi originally is from Leipzig's Kewa clan.
 
Rani needsto leave Leipzig because she cant be together with the Kewa family anymore, Kewa and Astra are aggressive against her. I don’t think Temi is moving to Leipzig because Leipzig has enough females and 2 female calves.

Don't be too surprised if this happens. These days you keep elephants in matrilines and it's not about the pure number of females together. Complete list of EEP matrilines, which were torn apart in the past:

- Bernhardine line with 3 cows in Dublin and 2 in Rotterdam
- Kewa line with 5 cows in Leipzig and 1 in Munich
- Minbu line, alone in Blackpool with 2 in Whipsnade (Chester in the future)
- Yashoda line with 2 in Hamburg and 1 in Münster
- Malicia line, alone in Palmyre and 1 in Budapest
- former Thura line with 2 soon in Munich and 1 in Münster

An interesting move would be to send Ratna from Münster to Munich once Rani/Savani are settled. Corny from Münster to Hamburg. And in return Lai Sinh and Shila from Hamburg to Münster.
