Asian Lions in Europe - Part Two

Updates from the past few months:

Dudley received male, Jetpur back from Mulhouse as a new breeding male in October

Zoo Praha were successful in importing 1.2 from India at the end of 2015 (male Jamvan and females Gini and Suchi - all born 2012)

2.1 born at Planckendael on 25th January to Lorena (bPlanckendael2010) and Jari (bPaignton2012)

Male, Tejas (bChester2007) moved from Besancon to Koln in March. One of the young females from Helsinki will be joining him soon if she hasn't already arrived

Brothers, Bhanu and Kamal (bMagdeburg2010) returned to Europe from Winnipeg in the Spring. Bhanu has been placed at London whilst Kamal has replaced Ashok at Chessington

Fota Wildlife Park will receive 0.2 Asian Lions for the 1st time later this year

Helsinki have dispatched there 2014 litter of 0.3 - Gina has moved to Koln whilst Gita and Gina are settling in at Fota Wildlife Park

A male should arrive at Fota shortly as well

Paignton welcomed a new litter of 0.0.2 cubs on 16th June to Maliya and Lucifer

Today, male Saiko (Tejas X Shiva) departed Besancon for Santillana
 
Cotswold Wildlife Park have announced the birth of three female cubs to Khana and Rana - born 25th May and doing well so far

Male, Shanto from Santillana (B2011 at Rotterdam) arrived at Fota in July

Paignton cubs are now sexed as two males
 
The Paignton cubs have now been re-sexed as 1.1 and given the names Yali (male) and Arya

Besancon - sisters Kira (B2013) and Sakura (B2014) left for Madrid Zoo yesterday. Leaving Aya (B2014) to pair with male, Boris from Tierpark Berlin.

Madrid are another new holder for Asian lions
 
Mulhouse - males, Shapur and Kajal (B9/9/2014 Sita X Jetpur) were relocated to Stuttgart during March. There sister's, Kharia and Isha also left Mulhouse last week for Zoo Parc Tregomeur (another new holder) along with there mother, Sita

Later this year Mulhouse will receive a new breeding pair to replace them
 
Female Kyna, born at Dublin Zoo on August 11, 2014 (mother Sita, father Kumar), arrived at Korkeasaari Zoo Helsinki in September 2016.
At the moment Helsinki has four Asiatic lions: Mohan (m) b. 2002 in Cologne, Pandora (f) b. 1998 in Helsinki, Kalyana (f) b. 2010 in Bristol, and Kyna (f) b. 2014 in Dublin.
 
Male, Kashi (B1999 CotswoldWP. Sabu X Akela) was put to sleep at Frankfurt today aged 18

Female, Shantee (B1998 Paignton. Midas X Jamna) also passed away at Rotterdam back in June
 
Female, Pandora (B1998 Helsinki) has died at Helsinki just short of her 19th birthday
 
Does anyone know what will happen/when will a female Asiatic lioness join Kamran And Ketan at Bristol

Its upto the studbook keeper. At the moment neither Kamran or Ketan are required for breeding (they have full and half siblings already breeding elsewhere). But that may change in the future
