Asian Lions in Europe - Part Two

With all info found in this topic and the excellent work done by Michel L'Huillier on the website Index, I made a pedigree tree off all the Asian lios who are now living in Europe. The file can show all the offspring of an individual or show all the ancestors of an individual. I made it with de genealogy program for humans. If anyone is interested, I can send a gedcom file, which you can import in any genealogy program you like. Just send me a PM.
 
In Korkeasaari Zoo, Finland there is currently a pack of four females.

Kalyana (2010) from Bristol
Kyna (2014) from Dublin
Arya & Amira (age not announced but they arrived from Ireland 2019)

Kalyana is the grandmother of Arya and Amira.

Korkeasaari has plans to get a new male from India, but the process is slow.

At Diergaarde Blijdorp, 4-year-old Asiatic lioness Mette has died. From an early age, she had been struggling with neurological problems. This could be seen, for example, in her abnormal walking, which caused her to stumble a lot. These problems increased, after which the zoo decided to put her to sleep. Her sisters Asha and Reena have the same neurological problems but currently to a lesser extent than Mette.

Besides Mette's death, there is also good news. Diergaarde Blijdorp will soon introduce a new Asiatic lion male to female Lalana. She is the mother of Mette and her sisters. Lalana herself has no neurological problems.

The neurological prolems sound worrying. Few years ago Korkeasaari had to put down their young asian lions due neurological problems. The symptoms were same.

I am hoping it is not anything genetic.
 
In Mulhoise male lion Timbi has died. His daughter Bindee still lives in Mulhouse.

Comme vous le savez peut-être, Timbi était suivi depuis plusieurs années par l’équipe vétérinaire pour des problèmes de santé. Son état s’étant gravement empiré ces dernières semaines, sans espoir d’amélioration, l’équipe a pris la difficile décision d’abréger ses souffrances. It is also not the first time an Asiatic lion has been euthanised at Blijdorp because of these neurological problems unfortunately. The father of the three sisters suffered from the same neurological problems.

It has been known for some time that neurological problems occur in many more Asiatic lions of various origins in zoos and in the wild. Therefore, a large-scale study into the cause and occurrence of these neurological problems (ataxia), initiated from Blijdorp, has been ongoing for some time. This is in collaboration with the European population management programme and Utrecht University.
 
3 year old male Keshari (b. 2019 to 1.0 Jayendra & 0.1 Roberta) moved from Edinburgh to Dudley Zoo last week.
 
Santo Inácio - male, Itar (born at Planckendael in September 2007) has died. He had lived at SA since his arrival from Dudley in 2013
