Most likely not soon. Despite many progress in recent years, the zoo still kept many of their older exhibits, mostly due to lack of space. Not to mention that the tigers are still one of their popular attraction, that specific exhibit allows feeding interactions for guests.Hi I visited Bali Zoo a few months ago and I found that the White Tiger enclosure was very small and not suitable for holding Tigers in today and I was wondering does the Zoo has any plans to renovate the enclosure or expand it? When I saw it there was two Tigers one was on the concrete next to the little pond in the middle with his tongue out looking so thirsty and hot and the white Tiger found a shady bit a was sleeping.
That is quite sad for the Tigers the ones in the Sumatran area has a better bigger habitat does Bali Zoo have any plans to upgrade any of there older exhibit? The Sumatran area is beautiful just saw one of the Elephants get waked with a stick and the Asian Small Clawed Otter exhibit needs a upgrade but mainly the Tiger, Javan Gibbons and Wallabies. Most likely not soon. Yes Bali Zoo still holds Pangolins they are located in the little Ocelot viewing area in a little box.Does anyone know if Bali Zoo still has pangolins?
And if yes, which part of the zoo are they displayed in?
Not that I'm aware off. Their social media post are nice, but barely gives much updates or future plans. That is quite sad for the Tigers the ones in the Sumatran area has a better bigger habitat does Bali Zoo have any plans to upgrade any of there older exhibit? An TikTok video apparently shows an female lion has passed away in the exhibit. She was already unresponsive after being approached by the male lion. The caption mentioned that staffs had already try evacuating the dead female lion.

The newer African area are certainly great, but elsewhere in the zoo, it's very questionable with the elephant rides and orangutan interactions.since Bali Zoo's exhibit and animal enrichment are pretty good
I feel it may have died from natural causes,
It has. The zoo confirms it had passed away from old age, as she had been twenty years of age (normal expectancy of lion's age spans from 10-15 years)
This is probably their most interesting addition in recent years hahaha, thank you so much for sharing this information. Still remember how many cuscus that you saw?I visited Bali Zoo yesterday, and next to the Asian palm civet exhibit, I spotted a Blue-eyed Cuscus (Phalanger matabiru)—this seems to be a brand-new exhibit.

The only disappointment during my visit was that the Asiatic golden cat was kept in its indoor enclosure. I could see it moving around inside, but it wasn’t able to come out. Additionally, the information board for the Asiatic golden cat had been removed. I tried asking the keeper for the reason, but we couldn’t communicate effectively due to the language barrier. I hope someone can check on the Asiatic golden cat’s condition or communicate with the staff about this issue next time.

I assume it could be some checkups, either on the cats or the exhibit, or both. I also recall their ocelots being sent to Jagat Satwa Nusanta (Taman Mini Indonesia Indah) in Jakarta some months ago, so I also assume that there's potential of it being related to that as well. Its still better to ask the staffs there for better informations.
