Not sure What to think about the Geladas. To be honest I think they would be better at Africa Alive!

I agree, this does seem to be a strange move. The enclosure seemed fine for the Colobus, but it's not that big for Gelada and will they get through the overhead tunnel?

Im sure the tunnel will be fine just think that the enclosure is much better for coloubus.

The remaining 7 Colobus went to Zoo Parc Reynou in France at the end of April

The Geladaa arrived Tuesday and are now visible in the old colobus enclosure. The two-toned sloth is now able to wander freely around the Eureka house.

I have actually been inside the house the geladas are in and im not sure if the indoor accommodation is big enough for geladas.

Any idea whether the Geladas came from within UK or from outside-how many and are they males only, or a male/female group?

They did indeed come from Edinburgh. There are currently 3 males, with another 2 males due to arrive soon.

Few bits of news from Banham:

1. Baby Red panda born 8th July - Sex currently unknown.
2. Male Grevy's Zebra born 21st September

There is also talk of allowing the Coppery Titi monkeys free roaming access within Eureka.

1.0 Blue Eyed Black Lemur recently arrived to pair with Banham's current female. Not sure where he's come from? Called Ravu
