The new sealion exhibit has been delayed to Easter 2018. In other news, the zoo have received 2 more male Geladas and a Victoria crowned pigeon fledged last week.

The plan is to let the coppery titi monkeys free-roam around the Eureka building. They are slowly being let out most days for around 30mins to get used to their new surroundings.

They left the collection and are being replaced by sea lions.

Excellent news, along with the arrival of the bears at Wingham & birth of the Tamandua at Colchester, this has to be one of the best news days in a while for the UK!

Has there been recent Maned Wolf pups? Someone has just posted a photo of a young looking specimen on their facebook.

Pretty certain gorillas have never been in the cards at Banham

I noticed the geoffroy's cat enclosure is now another Pallas cat home yesterday (at least labelled as such), although I only saw one in the end section.

The Geoffroy's cat left a couple of months ago, the male is in the left enclosure, with the elusive female in the right hand enclosure. She's normally in the top right corner hiding.

Unless you get lucky, like I did the other week...
