Anyone know where the Rhea are housed and if they are on their own or are sharing with the alpacas or llamas?
That'd be greater! Lesser/Darwin's rhea are extremely rare in comparisonOh? I thought they were a staple of farm parks and smaller wildlife parks? I may have just been conflating the two species in the past.

Thank you, that makes more sense. In my defence, I was heavily sleep deprived when I started this conversation- definitely a blip of a decent sleep scheduleThe post by @ZooNews2024 to which you were replying explicitly said that Greater were a staple of farm parks and smaller wildlife parks and that Lesser were a major rarityas did posts by myself and @pipaluk amongst others.
So, a blip of reading comprehension![]()

I know, that was me acknowledging and explaining how I made the mistake. This is another thread which perhaps deserves a 'stop' of some kind, as you have been given the information you were lacking - plenty of times now.
A shame as that collection is lacking in ungulates.I think that animal might have also left Drayton Manor's collection.
