I meant to post some of these for a long time now but for some reason I kept forgetting.
For context, I'm currently making a collection of animated "shorts" that I hope to have uploaded onto a YouTube channel eventually. They will more so be storyboards.animatics with music, sound effects, and voice acting rather than full frame-frame animation.
The following are meant to be incidental characters that appear as background characters and minor roles within the show.
I've been working on these incidental characters for about two years now, my oldest here dating to about February of 2023 I believe. This particular drwaing was done around February of 2024 I believe. The inspiration primarily comes from this animal signage from Disney Animal Kingdom's Kilimanjaro ride:
I drew the cheetah and ostrich, but I was not too happy with how they've turned out, so I replaced them with a lion and gorilla (even though there are no gorillas on the ride). I also drew the saddle-billed stork but I cut him out because he didn't fit.
My African Animals Art:

Here is the non-scanned version of the art too to see how they're always done by hand.
I have a lot more drawings, but I'll be uploading one every day or other day. For some later drawings I'll be asking for some feedback, but feel free to offer feedback or criticisms whenever you want.
