She arrived on the 20th of January http://thebigcatsanctuary.org/news/retired-sumatran-tiger-arrives-at-the-sanctuary/does anyone know if kirana the tiger from chester has arrived here yet. cheers
Tiny the African lion has passed away at the age of 18
They have 7 white lions on siteSo obviously since Tiny (African lion) died this only leaves Kasanga, but how many lions can the sanctuary hold if full capacity?
Or have th old lion enclosures been earmarked for new species?
Jack, the remaining Jungle Cat has recently been PTS due to severe arthritis. BCS no longer hold the species
Sad news. Does anyone else keep this species in the UK now other than the Ark?
Interesting to See Chester Zoo had brought in a new Male Sumatran Dash and have now announced 2 Cubs have been born to Kasarna.Yes, it certainly is interesting. I was under the impression she was not to be bred because her bloodline was overrepresented.
