i don't know if they still have these but Khao Kheow open zoo might still have Magnificent riflebirds.

I can now add that San Diego keeps Cicinnurus magnificus hunsteini but no population data yet. Should have some in the next few weeks.

I'd imagine that the entire US population would be descended from the San Diego animals (or at least part of it).

Also just as a general note to everyone, let's make sure we're not accidentally posting off-record info. Some of information posted since the thread's creations has been known before but was left off purposefully due to the how we came about the info.

Fort Worth has 1.2 Lesser BoP's.

San Antonio no longer has reds, only the 1.2 Lesser's now.

San Diego's Magnificent's originate from Honolulu.

Honolulu should have at least 1.3 Superb's (how recent is your info MikeG?)

Don't know if that still there, but according to JAZA and the zoo website, fukouka have Raggiana Bird of Paradise.

I have been to Toledo zoo many times and have never seen the superb bird of paradise or any indication that they have them.

I think MikeG's source is pretty accurate...
I have seen that before and many animals on that source mentioned are not on exhibit. I will be visiting that collection in a few months will see if woodswallows, or a superb bird of paradise are on display. I believe that Toledo had the latter but it died or was sent to a different zoo or taken off display.
