On May 8th, the zoo announced that they have rehabilitated a (0.1) bald eagle? and have re-released her back into the wild.

On May 3rd, the zoo announced that their (0.1) American black bear named Hailey has been off exhibit as she contracted a uterine infection. She is currently in the Animal Care Center.

On August 8th, the zoo announced that a (1.0) green heron named Big Mac was rescued from an aftermath of a storm on July 29th. 2 birds were found deceased on scene, and a further one (later named Small Fry) passed away on August 2nd.

Ursula, a Siberian Tiger and Yeti, a Snow Leopard arrived on January 31st. The Snow Leopard is from Albuquerque BioPark and it was not provided from what zoo the Siberian tiger came from.
