This is not a reply to Jarkari or Connor91 but just an observation, but maybe someone should clarify with Australia Zoo what their commitment is to the program, (ie..number of spaces / enclosures they have, can they house non-contact animals etc) before people continue with "speculation" .This is the first thread i have followed (being a newcomer to this site) but so many of the comments seemed to be based on speculation, misinformation, rumours and hearsay.
For example "Jay" states that AZ does not follow recommendations and doubts they will in the future (which he hasn't back up in anyway) - which in turn gets Kifaru Bwana's knickers in a twist and the mud starts flying!!
People need to be mind find that this forum is "open to all" on the net, and it is unfair to the individual institutes, and to be honest looks bad on the industry, when comments such as Jay's are unfounded.
