This made news in Australia for some reason. It said two young are on exhibit here and two at a zoo in Brooklyn (Prospect Park Zoo? I don't know New York's boroughs).
Well that's odd

Are there still lace monitors (Varanus varius) at Bronx Zoo?
Pheasantry species list
I had a list on-hand of all the species I've ever seen at Bronx so I can pm you a species list of all the pheasants I've seen there right now if you want.

I'd appreciate that. It's not just the pheasants, but the bird collection held in those pens.
Can you please check on the komodo dragon construction.
Kiwi?! Why hadn't anyone mentioned this yet? Was this an exhibit plan that was kept secret? I'm actually kind of disappointed now, knowing that not only could I not visit before the end of the year, but that I would've missed the panda cubs, leopard cubs, and now kiwi apparently! I'm also very interested in seeing those mountain-toucans - they're one species I've always liked.
Thanks for the updates, TA.
Although, the Harris's Antelope Squirrels, Northern Luzon Giant Cloud Rats, and at least the Gerbil-Like Hamsters aren't new (at least, maybe to you- I remember seeing those species on my visit in August). If you can recall, was the fennec fox still in the Mouse House? That fox had given birth recently, hadn't it? Or am I imagining that news?
I don't know they have McCord's Box Turtles! I even have not seen one in China~~There were quite a few McCord's Box Turtles out in the nursery in World of Reptiles.
