Bronx Zoo Game

Lion because they used to roam the Danube and then became extict in Tangiers?
And old man because his dark mane is a sign of age.

Nope, but at least you're getting the hang of using logical reasoning :p

No, it's nothing to do with the Vandals.

Going to actually guess a species? :p

Although you misinterpreted part of the riddle, which led to an incorrect assumption, your initial guess was thinking along the right logic.

Northern bald ibis because they live in Morocco and they used to live by the Danube
Its name means old man in Greek

Alright the answer was African rock python because in Greek legend the mighty python(Depending on what myth you heard) told fortunes to people(Another version was that is PREVENTED fortune telling). In all myths however, apollo the sun god went to slay it.

Whoever comes in first gets to tell the next riddle!

Attempting to use actual reasoning:

Lowland Anoa says he likes birds, he also tends to support or mention stuff if it is Scottish or at Edinburgh Zoo.

I think the most likely of those two for Bronx is birds.

Stunning in sight: Birds of Paradise are (in many people's opinions) the most stunning birds, Lowland Anoa also chose to include four species of Birds of Paradise in a medium sized zoo when he was deemed curator of birds for that ZooChat Zoo thread that died a while ago. So I think it's birds of Paradise

Bronx has Birds of Paradise so it matches there.

Endangered: Well, technically they're not (at least, I believe the ones at Bronx aren't) but they are rare (one could say Endangered) within zoos and many people would think they were Endangered. Also, based on the thought put into the riddle... I doubt actual research went into Endangered-ness of the species in question.

There you have it: applying logic to a meaningless nonsense riddle :D

Maybe the riddle was posed in a fit of megalomania, in which case the correct answer for what lowlandanoa regards as "stunning" would be.....

A lowland anoa.
