My apologies. I tried making a thread to diverge this sort of talk from the news before but it was deleted by mods who deemed it unnecessary.
.... In total you'd need at least 9 acres to build the kind of exhibit you want for them.
Of all of the top-notch elephant exhibits built in this country in the last 20 years, you'd be hard-pressed to find exhibits of 9 acres, even those designed for herds of up to 11, including males. And my last comments indicate that I would appreciate even a modest exhibit for a few non-breeding females.
Your persistent diatribes to me seem misplaced. Since I was only responding to the very interesting ideas of @Wyman and @Tigress115, I'm sure we would all be eager to see you direct such painstaking thought to the the particulars of their proposals.
I've already seen comments on their Instagram post calling them foxes :\

Well, since this is a species the average person wouldn't be familiar with, I'd say that's a bit more understandable than, say, someone calling a chimp or any other ape a monkey.I've already seen comments on their Instagram post calling them foxes :\

"Hogle Zoo officials also weren’t able to supply a home for the kittens but were able to find them a home at the Bronx Zoo in New York City.
“They started reaching out to some other zoos that they have contact with, and the Bronx Zoo was the one that was able to take them and wanted them,” Jolley said. “We’re really, really grateful (Hogle Zoo) also put in so much effort to also find these kittens a home.”"
Apparently the Bronx Zoo now has 3 cougar cubs off exhibit. I imagine these will go to Queens Zoo once they are older.
3 abandoned cougar kittens sent to New York zoo after being rescued in Utah
Honestly the zoo needs a lot of work. I'm waiting for the old primate house to become an insect house.
Without the old primate house, the zoo still has more species on exhibit that almost any other zoo in the country. Can you provide examples of what actually needs work at the zoo?
