This discussion is an interesting contrast to all of the "Best Marmot Exhibit In SouthEast Wyoming" threads that fill the USA zoo forum here. You can't have it both ways: criticize a zoo for not having the best exhibit of its kind anywhere and also insist they throw together something and just get the darn animal out.
Going back to my original post, I can see it looks like I am saying they should just start and hope for the best later. Perhaps, they should wait until the know they'll have enough, or at least for the polar bear exhibits alone. I do not want them to hurry the pace, cut corners and it ending up like another modern polar bear exhibit that went wrong. I guess I'm more that they do good detailing on the actual polar bear exhibits. As for the additional animals, I think the zoo could do without them and if that could cut costs, that would be great. Or I would be fine if they used the planned budget for just the polar bear exhibits to make sure they get them right. No matter how long it takes, I do hope that the zoo can accomplish this exhibit as I like their idea of housing orphan polar bears.
